Forty-Seven!
I can't believe it!
With BUCK$ for BOOT$,
generous Marsh audiences and friends raised
$7054
enough to provide 47
soldiers with new boots.
(For real. I counted
twice.)
Thank you all.

COME
AND SUPPORT THE TROOPS
THE SAN FRANCISCO WAY!
After
7 fantastic weeks, AMERICAN JOE's run at the Marsh is over.
Stay tuned to see where it will show up next.

BUCK$ for BOOT$ Thanks You!
Ever
wondered how to support the troops but not the war?
Contribute to BUCK$ for BOOT$!
The
army buys some fantastic weapons but they can't seem to buy
good boots. Joe is issued canvas-sided, steel-shanked $38
boots. If you've ever hiked with 150 lbs. on your back (or
even taken a quick walk) in shoes without support, you know
what a problem it can be.
With
"BUCK$ for BOOT$" I've been
raising money to buy Joe's whole platoon high-quality, $135
Oakleys. Because if I can't keep him safe, at least I can
help his plantar fasciitis.
When I include socks (the ones they get are cotton and
don't even have a heel!) each package is $150 per soldier.
So far, generous audiences have purchased boots for:
Pvt. Little
Pvt. Dawson
Pvt. Haggens
Pvt. Mitchell
Pvt. Faulkner
Pvt. McDowell
Pvt. Raynal
Sgt. Kim
(Updated

In only five
short weekends of performance,
audiences have raised an additional $2090 for boots.
That
is enough to shod 14 more soldiers! Thank you again! We'll
keep going until we get the whole platoon!
